REFER THE MANDEM
We believe in the old saying that ‘It takes a village’, and a testament to this is that most of our members joined our program, because a friend or a loved one had told them about our company. The community’s support is what helps us do what we do, so if you know of someone who you feel would benefit from engaging with us please direct them this way!!
BESPOKE WORKSHOPS
Whilst holding great pride working with our primary target group, we also offer workshops to any group that would like to experience our practice. Whether an affinity group, youth theatres, schools, colleges and universities, if you would like us to come in to deliver a series of workshops please do let us know.
WORKING WITH TEACHERS
School experiences can play a detrimental part of a young person’s development, and the journey of trying to find your voice in the classroom can be challenging. We facilitate workshops for teachers who are interested in amplifying the voices of young black students. In February 2023 we hosted this workshop at the Drama Teacher Conference 2023 at the National Theatre. If you work at school and would like to engage in this training, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

National Theatre Public Acts (2022- 2023)
National Theatre Public Acts is the NT’s nationwide initiative to create extraordinary acts of theatre and community. The programme produces ambitious new works of participatory theatre and is built on sustained partnerships with theatres and community organisations across the country who share our vision of theatre as a force for change.
Trybe House Theatre is an Associate Company at the Royal Court Theatre; the partnership began in August 2021 and will run until July 2024. Throughout the partnership, the Royal Court will support Trybe House Theatre in delivering their vision to artistically engage young black men in theatre and create work that is reflective of their reality and celebrates identity
Throughout the collaboration between the Royal Court and Trybe House Theatre, participants will have access to mentoring, writing workshops and Royal Court performances. The Royal Court and Trybe House Theatre will each feed into each other’s learning, and will be working together to develop and deliver an artistic programme.
We partnered with Paines and delivered a programme of workshops to national audiences during the tour of Sessions written by Ifeyinwa Frederick and directed by our A.D Philip J Morris.
