The National Theatre is one of the UK’s most prominent publicly funded performing arts venues. Through its Public Acts programme, which creates epic theatre with communities at its heart, the NT has become one of THT’s most significant institutional partners.
In August 2023, five Trybe members performed in The Odyssey Episode Five: The Underworld on the Olivier stage, a landmark moment that demonstrated the calibre of THT’s ensemble and opened doors to further collaboration. The partnership has strengthened THT’s profile within the subsidised theatre sector and provided compelling evidence for funders of the quality and ambition of our work.
