SWIM is an original Trybe House Theatre production that emerged directly from the ensemble’s creative work. Devised collaboratively with Trybe members, the piece uses physical theatre, spoken word and live music to explore the pressures, expectations and emotional realities of life as a young Black man in contemporary Britain.
Raw, honest and deeply personal, SWIM exemplifies THT’s core mission: transforming lived experience into powerful, professional theatre that speaks truth to audiences.
SWIM was the moment THT proved these young men could hold a professional stage on their own terms.
